can anyone provide the link of watchtower year and month, that mentions that the resurrected jehovah's witnesses (all resurrected) will not be able to marry again.

as they will no longer have a desire for marriage..

how did you feel when you went to church for the first time?

was it so very different from the witneses and did you feel guilty?.

i'm considering going for the first time with my daughter but am worried about what to expect..

once again our lurking jw friend sent us the " witness only " version of the may 15th watchtower and i picked out the thought and " mind controlling " statements i thought you folks would be interested in seeing in order to see how blatant the control is being exerted these days.. first in an article called " youths - make your advancement manifest " notice the blatant way the wt society compares itself to jehovah.

and then how they insult the young people.

it states in paragraph 13, " why do i want to get married ?

the jw academy post brought back my memories of going to a school run by jw's in the late 70's in hollywood fla. i went for 4 and 5 th grade.

i t was quite odd and i do believe i have suppressed most of my memories of it.

has anybody else ever heard of such a thing ?

i was invited to attend maundy thursday at the local methodist church .

each year i guess they do something different this year it was a drama of the last supper .

the actors were just regular members of the congregation aged 17-60 .

my brother-in-law has been staying with me all week and his strange views of life have been driving me crazy.

just yesterday he informed me that c.t.

russell predicted global warming.

Anyone else going to church this Easter Sunday?

i'm starting my day at 6.30am on top of the campsie hills for a brief dawn service with an ecumenical group of christians.

then it's back to one of the lennoxtown church for a roll and sausage.

our own church's service is at 12noon, so i may be able to go back to bed for an hour......hahahahahahaha i crack myself up.. what are you guys doing this easter sunday?.

unwittingly the germans, during wwii, they experimented with many, many ways for killing people, efficiently and quickly.

their records show that when a person is suspended with their hands over their head, as they would be on the jw "torture stake," they can survive for approximately one hour.

if their feet are tied down, as well, the time is reduced to about 15 minutes.. .

the signs are becoming more and more clear.

violent crimes are increasing and lawlessness is the thing of the day.

people are starting to lose their minds due to the increasing job loss and economic hardship.

The biggest issue the Society has to face.

not paedophilia - as much as that must be dealt with.

not blood, shunning, corruption, failed prophecy, bunked chronology, the internet or u.n type scandals.. the biggest issue/threat the watchtower faces is authority.. hold up any other issue before a true jw and the shutters come down.

because they have listened to 'authority'.
